Other Pump shoe glue

Does anyone know what kind of glue can be used to install a new pump shoe? The old factory glue looks pretty thick, and gets a little soft when heated.

Pretty sure any RTV silicone will do the job for sealing purposes. Also have heard of people using 5200 or epoxy in some cases.

I used fast dry 5200 and it worked fine

West systems G-flex. Not sure about plexus.

Any of the above will work except for the shoe goo maybe.

G flex or plexus are great options. Marine tex also works.
