pump rebuild

rebuilt my pump and when i was reassembling i realized i didnt have part number 23. it says its just a spacer. i have a cut back impeller that does not rub the stator, so is the spacer still needed?

You do not need it.

That's right. One may leave it out to reduce the clearance imp to vanes
