So my X2 pump needs new bearings and seals. Could anyone share their experience with the rebuild kits Hot Products sells? My guess is they're WSM. Good? Don't bother? Is oem the only way? I know the bearing are 6303 or something like that, at least standard. What about the seals and o-rings? Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks.

RIVA would charge about 73 bucks plus shipping for the complete oem kit, whereas about 44 bucks would be just for just the bearings. I think the HP kits sells for about 35 to 40?

My experince has been less than favorable with WSM seals. They seem to be undersized and really hard to keep the springs on the seals during assembly. Personally, I won't use them.

I sent my pump to Exactal Tool. I forget when and who but you can find it in the search if you like. I think I paid $300 (might have been $400) for a complete reconditioning. He removed the liner and replaced it with a brand new stainless liner, installed new bearings and seals (parts included in price) and installed the prop I sent. I believe he even covered return shipping. It's been well over a year now, the bearings are still like new and the liner has no warpage or distortion of any kind.

That's why I sent it btw. All the pumps I had had some distortion of the pump sleeve. I sent the nicest one I had and he made it like brand new (Actual new is $600 I believe). Also gave me a $50 credit on the job for a 750 pump I sent with it. I was pleased for the price.
