So, you installed the pump and you're sure you did so correctly with nothing binding?

The only reason for the teeth missing could be because the engine moved and the pump didn't, or the insert was too small.

What make engine you using?
What make driveshaft you using?
What make pump you using?

I've got some decent used props you're welcome to. That's an odd thing to have happen, I have heard of early 650 aftermarket props having the wrong properties for the splines and stripping......can't remember if it was Solas/Jetlyne, or Jetsport?

Ping me if you want a prop, I'll hook you up.

well, the pump didnt just "go south"

if the driveline was making noise all last season you were wearing the shaft everytime you rode it...

with ANY kind of driveline modification you must be conscious of the pump/shafts...and make sure they are tight and properly aligned...

the SJ pump conversion most likely woudl not have been any better for you as you'd be looking at replacement of even MORE expensive shafts...

get new parts, double check alignment...ride it, then check it again!!!
