Super Jet pump housing

i just put new pump housing in with the replacable wear ring and the thing is super loud. is this normal. i replaced because the oe one i thought may be out of specs since it is a 01 with a million and a half hours on it. my pump sounds like a recycling bin. iv replaced all the bearings a few times and thought this was it but the replacement is loder than #$%@. im wondering if its the splines in the shafts. any suggestions.

Did you use a WSM? They have an interference fit and impeller cuts into the plastic on startup, but wouldnt think it would be too loud.

When you had the pump out, you would have noticed a spline issue. The rear of the impeller blades arent hitting the pump stator vanes? setback too far?

Pump isnt noisy when you spin it by hand out of the ski?

hey chris no in the set back. i put a new 9/15 hooker in a few months ago. the splines dont look bad they look the same as they have for 3 years. i just pack them with grease. the bearings i got from you over the winter. maybe i should replace them again. . let me know on the rebuild kit and il get you some money. il prob have squirlly111 order them for me since his paypal works and mine sucks.
