Super Jet Pump Housing Gasket

Hi,

Just swapped out the stock impeller for a Hooker. What a POS the stock one is. I wish I did this earlier. Plus SJ impeller changes are faster and easier than the Kawi's. I would have never guess from reading some posts.
Anyway, the gasket is kind of buggered up. Is this a problem or not?

You should replace it. If not, definately silicone it in.

I just ordered a new one. Weird, its the first time this pump has been off. I'm not sure how you screw one up like this?
