Super Jet Pump bearing question

Bought a mag pump and I put my driveshaft in it. Bearing felt nice and smooth before they went in. Now when I hold the driveshaft and spin the housing I can feel some small bumps but not all the time. I put it together once already and didn't like how it felt so pulled it apart and the rear bearing was bad. Question is, should I feel something or is it going to be perfectly smooth? It's not grinding or anything. Might be just paranoid because it was my first time pressing bearings in.

Prop on when spinning it ? (Mine was smooth after Prop was hand tightened on).

I'm thinking about getting a set of bearings just in case.

I tried it with the prop and it felt better. I can barely feel anything if at all. I just going to run it and keep an eye on it. Thanks

Maybe grab a set of bearings, just in case like you said. It should feel very smooth.

Try giving the end of shaft a light tap with hammer and retest.

What bearings is everyone using? The seal or open? I know 6205 jap c3 bearing is recommended.
