I have a WDK Envy and up until last week I was running a kawi 750 with a shaved head and factory pipe. It has a Kawi 140 pump with an 11/19 skat impeller (i beleive) gotta get in there and double check, and a wetwolf cone.
After having electrical issues again I got fed up and swapped in a dual carb 62t/62t 701 with a power factor pipe into my hull. Engine is stock other than a #zero lightened flywheel, pipe and jetting. I am still running the kawi pump.
I was happy witht the pump when I had the 750 in the ski, but now I have pump issues, I am constantly bouncing of the rev limiter. I am obviuosly making more power now and my pumpis not handling it well.
I ride %95 surf and I plan on upgrading the head and ignition in the very near future, I also have an interest in a TPE 964 for next year.
My question is what would you do with the pump? Should i try a diff impeller or go straight for a mag pump? Skat or Maxx? Any suggestions on an impeller to start with?
