Protec head sealing

I recently purchased a Protec head for my 701. When installing the head, should I put a thin bead of rtv around the water jackets? This is my first experience woth an o-ring head so please bare with me. Thank you.

Pro-tec told me to use black RTV, make sure you have fresh O-rings.

Ok thanks. I found the correct o ring part number in the mcmaster carr thread, I just gotta order some.
