ProTec head and pipe for 701 SJ

Hi all,

I've found a protec head and pipe for a superjet and was wondering what the x-h2o community thought it was worth and/or if i should buy them.

If i do get what gas would i have to run?

how does this pipe compare to the factory mod/limited?

personally i don't see how this pipe would even fit into a 2005 SJ....?

the pipe makes real good power, it is heavier, and harder to install than the Factory pipe stuff though.

I had the same head also, it does what a head does, it increases compression slightly.

it depends on what the protec stuff costs.

if its half of what the factory pipe costs, then maybe consider it.

its heavier, harder to remove/install, and worth less than the FP.

BUT, it makes pretty similar power.

That sounds like a b-pipe is a bad thing.

If you can swing it that grab a b-pipe for sure.
Those pro-tec pipes sell for about $200, are a cheaper way to go but not necessarily the better way.

i can get the head and the pipe for about $450

Get a b-pipe and mill your stock head.
