Super Jet Prop Washer Specs

Can anyone get me the Thickness, ID, and OD for a prop washer? :thinking:

I was just going to order one from McMaster but do not have one to take measurements off of. Going to be used in a Solas mag with a 10/16 hooker if that makes a difference.

20mm I.D.

42mm O.D.

2mm metal thickness

if you don't have the equipment to machine them, then you don't have much of a choice. If you had the dimensions and had a machine shop make them, you're still spending more than $10. I didn't think 10 bucks was unreasonable. I will measure them and get the dimensions out there when I get them still. I have read also that you need 2 spacers for the mag pump and hooker prop, will let you know what I experience on this as well. I bought 2 spacers just in case. Also, just for comparison...I had to buy the metal 'spacer/gap/slop remover' that goes between the solas mag pump and the nozzle and that was $40.95. I guess it is not a must have, but I would rather pay a few extra bucks and do it right the first time. Filling the gap between the pump and nozzle with silicone does not seem like really good choice for me. I am a bit disappointed in the fit and finish of the solas mag pump, but is a cheaper alternative to the skat pumps.

Ten bucks is a good deal because the OEM part 62T-51348-00-00 sells for over twenty.

If you were to use a stainless washer your pump seals won't be shielded from debris well.

I would use the oem prop washer with a shim spacer in whatever thickness is needed to clearance the impeller blades from the stator vanes.

Here are some McMaster stainless shims that have a 20mm I.D. with a 30mm O.D in different thicknesses that will work with the oem prop washer.
