im running a Riva 760 5 mil stroker dont know the exact porting specs besides, it's definitely ported. it has dual 46 riva carbs and will have a b pipe. stock pump and electronics for now. i can get either a skat 14/19 or a solas 12/18 for free. any suggestions. i know a 9/15 hooker would be ideal but im trying to save a couple bucks right now. I haven't ridden this motor yet so i have no base point to start from. i want a lot of low end for some flatwater rolls but still want to be in the mid 50's. hull is 2000 sj hull
thanks

14/19 I think is going to be over prop, maybe 2 washers and you could maybe make it work... Unless its in a 50lb flatwater hull... We ran big hub 14/19 with our SS 865 motors oem SJ hulls....My buddy is running a big hub solas 12/18 760 ported motor and it rips....

9/15 is to low for that motor, 10/16 or even a 11/17 if you went hooker..

Just my .02

thanks for the info. ill probably mess around with the 12/18 first and see how that goes, maybe try the 14/19 and end up buying a hooker after TL.

14/19 in a mag with my 865. I ran a 12/17 big hub with tbm on my ported 701. They worked great for a surf boat. Ran 49 mph on radar.

If you want flat water prop go with a lower pitch to get it to spool up faster.

Ive never been on a stroker of that size, but I know they are torquier and make power down lower in the revs than a stock stroke big bore.

Edit: well with a b pipe at least.

makes sense. i guess time will tell, i haven't ridden any other motors besides bolt on/ported 701's to compare anything to. and yeah itll be running a b pipe.
