Super Jet prop for type 4 ?

I am contemplating buying a type 4 dry pipe for my sj. The motor is stock 701 and it has a single 44 carb. I have a solas mag pump and i have a line on a really cheap hooker prop. Im wondering with the pipe if i will b able to run a 10/16 pitched hooker??? I want to transfer this whole setup over to a aquabot in the future and i will probably b using a tpe. hoping i will b able to keep the pipe prop combo for that motor.

Is this a 61X single carb motor?

A 9/15 Hooker should work well with your current setup and that pipe, the 10/16 might be too aggressive on a single carb motor.

If you use the Type 4 on a TPE motor in the future, you will need to spend some time denting the type 4 (or any other dry pipe aside of the Power Factor) to allow the mag side power valve to fully actuate. The same applies to all other manufacturer's power valve cylinders as well.

The TPE motor will require a different impeller from whatever you decide to run with your 701 based configuration. The 964cc TPE requires at least a 14/19 C75 Swirl.

I ran at 10/16 on my 82mm Ported 61x and it worked well, But, I traded mine for a 9/15 because I felt I needed a tad bit lower prop.............. dont ask about the 9/15, I got screwed on that deal and still have not replaced my prop.......... I would hold out for a 9/15 or if the deal is really good, get it sent to IMPROS and repitched.
