Surfriding Prop choice?

Okay.. Funny how this all starts with just a solas mag pump and snowballed to doing motors, props, flywheels, mounts etc. etc. Modding these stand ups is half the fun. Here's the new set up I will have:

2008 Superjet
780 Big Bore (62t/62t)
Dual 38 Mikuni
Lightened Flywheel
Ada Girdled Head
MSD Enhancer
Factory Limited Pipe
Pump gas

Solas Magnum Pump
Large Nose Cone (comes with the pump)
85mm Taper Nozzle
Stock Intake Grate (by preference)

I weigh 145 lbs

I have the stock 08 prop, from what i've read it is very similar pitch to a Hooker 9/15. I will be doing primarily surf riding and some recreational riding in the bay chasing boat wakes, carving buoys etc. Im thinking jumping up to the hooker 10/16 would give me loads of power all around. Another cheaper option I thought is sending my OEM prop (1 season old) to Impros and have them repitch it. Also should I be running the smaller solas pump cone? I'll be 99% calling Impros tomorrow, but I just want to hear everyone elses opinions.. Meaning im impatient and debit card is loaded ready to go to a prop!

10/16 Hooker would work just fine. If u have the OEM 08 prop it works well as well.

I have a 9/15 on a 718 and it worked great all around. I imagine a 10/16 would be great for your setup.

I already found a 10/16 local thanks though. Im curious, do you need different prop with the mag because its setback?

He probably had an oem pump and 10/16 hooker which is 144 mm

Correct, I had a Hooker 10/16 in a Solas mag. Now with the 148mm mag I needed a 148mm prop. I just sold my prop locally as well, haha.

If you do pick one up I think you will be very happy with how it performs!

Not to mention Impros can sometimes take a long time.

I have a 781 and the 10/16 was the recommended prop...

i didn't want to wait so I ordered the 10/16 and sold the 9/15 here
