For $300 you can't go wrong. So long as your willing to put in the time. My buddy put a ski like this together and it took a while to get it setup. Now the thing runs like a top.

my main question is what would i do about a title and im home from college and making extra cash so i want a project like this

Choppin' it up.
Go to the DMV with a bill of sale and file for a lost title.
The DMV can tell you what to do. Call em up and ask what it will take before you buy it so you will know what you are getting into. Arkansas doesn't even require a title for personal watercraft. Bill of sales will get you legal. The trailers do require a title, which is lame.

I don't buy anything without titles. I've delt with it before and it's not worth the hassle. The deal is not very good evenif it had a good title anyway.

Looks like all the parts for that are from a SX. rideplate wont work , gas tank wont work , electronics are different , feet of the waterbox is different. Who knows maybe the driveshaft is an SX wich wont work iether. Too many question marks there.

NJ doesnt give a crap about titles on jetskis (and does not issue them). I have never had a title on any ski I owned. All you need is notorized bill of sale,(with valid HIN) and the NJ issued registration #'s. They will transfer registration to you. This is pending that the previous owner had registered it at sometime in the past, if they didnt you can run into trouble.

Not a very good deal. I paid $200 for a ski in similar condition except it had a R&D scoop grate, Westcoast ride plate, extra large gas tank, Westcoast Mikuni manifold. Keep looking for a better deal, you will find one. Or place a WTB on Craigslist, thats how I found mine.
