On March 4th I paypaled Project Ski money for some MSD parts and waited 10 days to contact him to see how he shipped the parts because I had not recieved them yet. He stated that he assumed I had recieved them because he had not heard from me. I told him I was not in a big hurry because they were back up parts only, but to please let me know whats up. I have since emailed, pm'ed, and called him several times with no response as of yet. I filed a paypal dispute with no response and then escalated it to a paypal claim. I again emailed him and explained I would gladly cancel the claim if he would do nothing more than communicate with me, and yet again, no response.

It appears that Project Ski has made this right by initiating a refund through paypal. Of course paypal says it may take up to 7 days for my money to show up in my account while they review it. WTF? lol

As long as the money shows up, I can't bash Project Ski for being a dead beat-it does appear he is making this right.

I still don't understand the lack of comm, but, if this is the worst I get burned is have my money tied up for a while, who am I to complain.

I also purchased some MSD from Project Ski. It was said to be NEW and then when talking to him he said he used the brain 1 weekend while he sent his other unit back for repair. I purchased it but when I received it I found the connector that the coils plug into had been cut off and the wires were about 3" long. I went and looked at the pics he sent and in them it appears the the pictures were taken with the cable just out of the edge of the frame where they wouldnt show. I emailed him to ask if he had the rest of the harness and why he cut it off. he then said it had been used to mock up a ski but never used and he would try and locate the harness he had cut off and the other side of the connector cable so I could splice it back in. He then told me he had located and would be mailing them to me. I have not yet received them and he will not reply to any of my emails either. The unit also appears to have been used more than just a weekend or either it was used in salt water and then not cleaned as it has corrosion on the underside and etching marks on the top side. I just hope it works when I install it now.

I must say, I really would not have cared if he kept my money and parts until next year had he emailed, pm'ed, or called back. Communication is the only thing I asked for and when that did not happen, I filed the claim.

Then again, he did do what is right in the long run. I guess you could say he is like dealing with a typical jet ski shop/supplier. LOL
