300/440/550 problems with a kaw 650sx....help

first i was wanting to know if anyone knows what the factory carb settings are.......... then i have 3 lines coming through the firewall which one is the inlet for water to run it (like on a stand,out of water to work on it) and the ski runs great but its hard starting you have to full choke it everytime you start it and it wont idle ????

If its hard to get it started then it might need a carb rebuild.
What carb is it 28 or 38 mm?
Old or new gas?
New or old spark plugs?

3 lines: 1 is hooked to the pump housing, this cools your engine when running. 1 is hooked to the plastic nozzle, this returns excessive water from your exhaust. 1 is your stock siphon.

i dont know what size carb it is im assuming a stock 28 i dont know of any mods to the ski but not positive it smells like alcohol burning when its running probably old fuel and havent looked at the plugs it fires right up after you choke it but lacks power at low and mid range only likes to run wide open i think theres race fuel in it but not positive

If it's been sitting that long...definately drain your tank and lines and refuel with fresh, and get new plugs and a carb rebuild like MT said above.

the only waterboxes that I have been inside have metal type screen or mesh if it is not a metal type material then it is probably a mouse nest
swooperjet is right change the fuel .
