Pro-Tec Head... different exhaust mounts

Hi there, I picked up a 2nd hand Pro-Tec Rec Head for the 61x 701, but was wondering how you mount them in regards to your exhaust. Instead of the standard 3 holes for the exhaust mount it has 4 holes and they are spaced differently.

Any suggestions?

Whilst i'm at it, would you use an o-ring and sealant, or use an OEM gasket? (it will be on a 1mm overbore cylinder with a Riva Red pipe, and probably MSD Enhancer)

In all seriousness though, I'm sure someone has used this setup? The Riva red-pipe uses the same mounting bracket as OEM.

As for the mounting of the pipe I cant help you, my blaster has a pro-tec head and pipe and they mount up perfectly.

For installing your head you just use the o-rings and some sealant on the rec-head. Hope this helps you some..

The protec rec head (non-girdled) is meant to line up with Pro-tec pipes only. The position of the mounts were far different from stock, and my R&D head.

It would appear that the head i have is off a Waveventurer/raider/XL700. They all had different mounting holes for the exhaust than the Superjet.... who would have guessed? A 61x/62t you'd reckon should be the same regardless of which craft it is in...
