$4500 for a used 07?? I just got a 09 for $5400 OTD registered in OR. I know there is no difference between the two except resale value and one is brand new. I think the dealer has one left still in the crate if anyone is interested. i also now of a new 08 for $5100 OTD but its in UT and shipping in like $300

Yeah thanks for that post, it sure helps the guys sell the ones who paid top dollar before the dealers started dumping them at rock bottom prices.

At this point I would be exstatic to get $4500 for my 06 with $1K in TBM handling components. The problem is guys are seeing the dealers dumping them at $5400 and then think that they have to get them privately for way less than what the dealers are selling them for. Great deals if you can get them but real insulting to get $3K offers on skis worth way more. Bottom line the skis new are worth what $6800 retail? Anything less than that is a good deal.

Last August, I paid $6,400 [out the door including taxes] for a new 2007 800SXR. Great machine.

Yeah to get that price on a 09 I called at least 30 dealers in UT, ID, NV, AZ, OR and WA. I could find a few 08's for $5100-$5300 OTD but no one would go less than 6K OTD on the 09. People on the east coast are getting 08's for $4700 OTD from what I hear on PWC. If anyone needs a new 08 for a good deal PM me I think I know a few dealers who have some left

When did they start making the current sxr? What years were important changes made?

How does the sxr compare to the 08/09 superjet? I've always heard that sxr's turn like no ones business, but are and feel heavier than the superjets. With the new design, I've heard that the superjets turn much better (hold a line without sliding out).

I currently have a fx-1. I really love riding it. Since I like the experience, I've been thinking about buying a new ski like the sxr or the superjet.

I've ridden the fx-1 seven times now, and it is certainly a challenge. I tried a modded kawi 550 and man was that thing stable compared to my fx-1.

What can I expect from a sxr vs a superjet. What about the roundnose pre 08 models too?

Where can I get the sxr out the door for 5100 plus $300 shipping? If they can finance, that would be a great option.
