im not sure what the kit you need is but its about the right price.. $210.00-$220.00 thats if you want the kit.. i would bore mine out to 82.5 and use those sudco pistons you see on e-bay all the time for $75.00 a set.. all in all you would save over a $100.00

I almost PMd you and told you about those sudcos, but I didnt figure you wanted to bore that big ( loose potential future rebuilds)

the pistons are 83mm sudcos ( same as art or prox) and Gordy that same shop will bore your cylinder to match them for $35 per hole.

so for $65 ( pistons) and $70 ( bore)

youget it all except gaskets.

thats the best deal going.

Atlantic jetsports has a wiseco kit for about the price of the pro-x. They also have a cheap wsm kit as well as top end gasket kits for a pretty good price. Ebay pistons and a $45 topend gasket kit sounds like the way to go. Parker has slow shipping from what I've seen.

Never used these or know anyone that has.

How do they hold up in the long run ?

I know the Pro X and how they behave that's why I was looking around for them but if you guys say this is the way to go than I'm in.

I don't mind going 2 mm over, I can always keep an eye out for a spare cylinder when the next rebuild comes along.

As for the gaskets, I always used OEM on my couch and never tried anything else.
What do you guys use ?

Ive run those sudco pistons in a few blasters and superjets over the years and never had a problem.. right now i have two ski's running on them.. I was going to use them in my LPW cylinder but I left it on a stock bore right now.. I got lazy and wanted to run it !! Thanks Paul

IMO, I would go with the ProX first, Sudco next, but steer clear of the WSM. I have seen it first hand and heard several bad reports when using WSM pistons. As for boring, you can go up to 84mm on a 61x cyl, if you trash it you can just resleeve instead of buying a new cyl.
