Pre-mix gas in a 4 stroke?

I've got a few gallons of spare 40:1 ski gas laying around. I was wondering if I could use it up in my 4 stroke bike to get rid of it? Any harm?...yay or nay? thanks

Bad for catalytic converters if ya got em, but otherwise you can run it. You might just mix it in 50/50 with straight gas so as to avoid potential plug fouling. The mixed fuel will technically run a little leaner because the oil displaces gas and oil is not fuel. The benefit would be some extra upper cylinder lubrication. I run old ski fuel in the lawn mowers all the time and dont have any problems.

I would say hell no!

May be OK, but not worth the risk. Dissimilar oils can repel each other and clot, and on the cylinder walls (where the oils would meet) that would be bad. I'd do it on small equipment, but not a HP engine................Just my .02

I usually dump the end of the season's gas in my truck too...no problems here.

I did the same put about 5 gals of premix in an 2006 F150 with no problems

Did the same put about 3 gals of premix into a 2007 Lincon MKZ and it made it about a block before it died and wouldn't start after that. Dealer said I had bad gas

just dumped the boat gas and some superjet gas into my truck the other day.

well the boat is 4 stroke motor so no oil in the gas but the superjet was 40:1

my pops does it all the time at the end of the year into the mowers, snowblowers or the truck and it doesnt do any harm.

I would shy away from running it in a thumper. I have seen 2 at the dealership that had stuck exhaust valves. As it exits the combustion chamber it hits the hot exhaust valves and deposits will stick to the face and stem .Both customers stated that sometimes they ran mix from friends if they ran low.

A lot of high performance motors run top end lubricant. It won't hurt anything. I ran quite a few gallons of 40:1 race fuel through my 600+ hp Lightning. Especially near the end of the season. But I done it on weekends all year long you know grudge match weekends

Do it in the lawnmower all the time to get rid of it.

I have a tank full of 927 in my lawn mower right now. Now I don't mind mowing:bigok:
Like Keefer said, I wouldn't run it if your 4 stroke if it has a catalytic converter. Otherwise it will be fine. It just might foul your plugs but unlikely if the mixed gas gets diluted enough with the straight gas.
