I sent my 12/17 skat swirl to impros for rehab. The impellor I've been using in the meantime hits nicely. It has a 3mm cut-back. So, I asked impros to do a cut-back on my prop.
I rec'd the invoice via e-mail and there was no charge for the cut-back. Questioned via e-mail, and the reply was ...
"your prop is already cut-back 6mm. Remove the spacer to get one more mm"
I purchased the prop brand new approx 5 years ago.
Is this the way skat makes 'em? Perhaps the skat I'm currently using is older?
This is in NO WAY a slam of any kind to impros. Dealing with them was a positive experience!
Just curious.
Thanx,
Dan
