PowerFactor Pipe hull sizing

Has anyone got some kind of template / sizing of PFP? I have shortened my 2006-shape X-2 and would like to know if I have the space to fit a PFP in it.

Hi, not sure how much you took off your x2...

but you have quite some margin in front for the PF pipe in a x2...

What setup are you running?


Still a work in progress, rear of hull shortened 8", nose I think is 6" shorter. Total length of ski is now 201cm(79.25")
Love the handling, turns very sharp and pops out of water, well balanced - jumps fairly flat in the surf
When I am finished with mods I am going to have a new one molded.

light hull -few inch, 9ish cc engine, PF, novi, epic, mag, etc... there is a pic or 2 on the other site on the x2 picture thread...
It was sold a couple of months ago... still miss it... but will make another one even better ;-)

Your hull is nice... you did cut a lot... I can imagine it flies... Nose must come up quite a lot with such a short back support...
have you relocated the steering ? or lowered it ?

Turned the steering base around, which moved steering about 2" forward. Steering is lowered a bit.
Nose comes up a bit when deepwater mounting in surf, have to gas it and drag behind, then let off the gas and pull myself on while ski has forward. Makes you fit.
Looking at OEM SX-R, specced overall length is 90.5". I'm at 79.25"

Maekawa cylinder or Yami based engine? (See you running no adapter to PF pipe)
