I painted my lower hull Black appliance Epoxy...
I had sanded it to bare SMC, and primed it before painting. Bottom area that contacts the beach when beaching is scratching off after 1 weekend of riding. Primer is still perfect though.... so im assuming its because I didnt spray the epoxy on the bare smc as was directed on the can.
Would I use it again? Most definately. cheap, easy to apply, and easy to touch up.

Does appliance paint say not to use primer? I was using the regular enamel and it emphasises the use of primer.

Don't sand down the stock paint. Grab a window scraper. The stock paint will peal right off.

I painted a squarenose with Krylon paints. It held up pretty well, I coated with Krylon clean and it held up to the UV rays pretty well, it sat out on my dock all summer uncovered and no fade.

Paint chips when impact happens, but its more resistant that I thought.

The Kerker paint is sweet. I think I might try it on my RN.
