Possible problems with new domes

I just recieved my new domes(42cc) from Pro Tec, upon inspection I noticed the outer diameter is a tiny bit smaller then the old 30cc domes. I set the new domes in the base and they do not fit tightly like the old domes do. Do I have a problem? Or will this work? See photo 30cc dome center, 42cc dome right.

NOTE: This is a Cool Head by Pro Design for a 99 GP1200

Notice the gap around the outside of the dome on the right?? All o rings fit perfectly

Thanks bro........It's the weirdest thing. I've never ecountered this before. The orings fit the new domes perfect, but they do not fit the old domes. The oring kit was purchased from Pro Design for the Pro Design Cool Head. I'm at a total loss here! Thanks, I appreciate your input.
