Possible cavitation?

Was riding the other day and at the river I ride at there is some moss and sticks in the water. Never have a problem with them but the other day was heading back in and went over a little patch and it felt like my ski suck up some moss because it started to burn out like cavitation. So I stopped and check but nothing was there. Started back up and the vibration was still there.

Got home pulled the pump out everything looks fine. Pump is smooth, no noticeable leaks, having changed anything recently. Only thing I noticed that was different was that my pisser that comes off the head wasn't putting out as much water and the hand warmers that feed off the same line barely had anything coming out.

Could my midshaft housing have failed. Is there an easy way to check?

stripped splines? Do you have a picture of what the end of your drive shaft looks like?

Splines are fine. Housing seal little dirty but doesn't look bad.

i would check your pump seal

if you have less water then you need to check for blockage. Did you pull the prop also? Also, depending on how much trash you ran over, you could have temperarily blocked the pump enough to create enough pressure that it may have sucked the Rubber Pump Seal in causing a leak there.

Did you check the splines on the inside of the intermediate shaft? Your drive shaft looks fine.

Not the seals for the pump, the seal that is used between the wear ring and pump shoe.

There is two seals in there

On the blockage part. Do I need to pull the head and check there. I blew the lines out.

could have bent a blade on prop hence vibration also.blow air in the cooling system to clear it

Ended up being the Pump to shoe seal. Thanks
