Custom/Hybrid Positive Battery Cable

Im in need a longer positive battery cable for my stunt hull. Only needs to be about 1 inch longer, but 2 would be nice. I know someone sells them on here, but would anything at lowes or home depot be able to suffice? Dont really want to wait on shipping times, trying to think of something that would work.

Automotive or marine stores might have something.

so does west marine any gauge pretty sure they even crimp them for you if needed

automotive & hardware stores usually don't have tinned copper so they probably won't last long. boat stores sell premade cables in various lengths that will last or tinned cable to make your own.

i dont really have any boat shops close, will take an hour to get to one. Ill see what I can find

Not tinned copper.


You want tinned for any kind of longevity, especially if you ride any saltwater.

Very good point, also cable ends must be soldered and crimped. Crimping only won't last in saltwater.

Dont think OEM cables are Tinned......

last weekend I swapped one from an oem SN box to an OEM raider box
they were crimped but neither were tinned
