porting 61x

Do someone can tell me about the best way to match my 61x cylinder intake port with the sleeve. I did the exhaust cuz there are a lot more space to work and I dont want to go bigger or enlarge my port just make it smooth and equal between sleeve and cylinders... you know how stock 61x cyl port are so bad matched and so rought. .. so I want to know if you guys did the intake by yourself and how !

I've done several. I have used a Dremel with flex shaft or Dremel + right angle head.
Be careful. Matching the tops of the ports will alter the port timing. Doesn't have to be a bad thing as long as you know what you're doing (I didn't).
Matching the sides will not do that, but it will still affect the port area.

As I said .. I dont want to enlarge my ports size ... just make the port equal with the sleeve... no big deal to know a lot on port timming .. just like if you resleeve your cylinders you need to match port ...but a dramel with a flex shaft is a good idea or with a right angle head... thanks guys

you don't understand.

you can widen the cylinder to match the sleeve in width and have good results. if you match the port height you're asking for trouble unless you know what you're doing.

Most do it yourselfer's mess them up. To stay out of trouble just blend out the exhaust and leave the transfers alone.
I'm sure you still need a lot more bolt on recipes to still do before messing with porting.

If you don't want to enlarge your ports, leave the transfers alone.
ANY matching you do to them will enlarge them.
