650/X-2 Poor Man Needs Help!!

I have been slowly building an X2 for the last 2 years. My goal was to make it a thrown together rat rod look that was functional as well. I have ran into a problem and need some help. My solenoid was bad so I was thinking of creative ways I could replace it and I ending up mounting in a ford solenoid. They are really universal and are only 7 dollars at auto zone. I cannot figure out how to wire it. Anybody with some wiring knowledge would be great help. Thanks!! Pictures to come (may offend the big budget, high quality guys)

P.S. I only have 300$ in this thing and I refuse to go over 400$

most solenoids are wired the same, battery power to one of the large poles, starter to the other. smaller wires, one is a ground and one is the start button. not sure how you are planning on mounting all of this but if you install it in the box, make sure no wires get pinched and that the part is mounted so it cant move around and short out. if you mount it outside you may have a problem if its not waterproof.

ditto................not sure how waterproof the ford starter solonoids are.

Stop switch doesn't connect to the solenoid, it connects to the CDI and a ground. I used one of those ford solenoids on my buddies 550 and he used it for two years like that till the motor died, we jbwelded it to the ouside of the ebox. Not sure on the water proof, but he would just spray it after each ride with wd-40, just use some dielectic grease on the connectors and keep it lubed to keep corrosion off it.
