Poop! idle screw broke!!

I was just finishing up installing new throttle shafts and butterflys, and went to turn the idle screw and SNAP!!! Now how do I set the idle?? Is there anyway to fix this. These are 46mm buckshots

JB Weld and retap it?

It has a preety big spring on it, Im thinkin about trying to tig the piece back on and re-tap it

it's aluminum, right?

It can be repaired. a good aluminum welder can put a blob on there, you grind it flat, re-tap, and it's good as new.

The "at the lake" method is to adjust the throttle cable so the carb returns where you want the idle.

There are probably more "professional" options

You can also move the idle adjuster to the slave carb and use it that way as is.

It is harder to adjust idle that way though.

The one on the slave carb has been cut off before I got these, Im starting to think these carbs werent as good of a deal as I thought!
