anyone ever turf the top of their pole? Considering this on a sqaure, so its a bit wider. I think it would help for hood riding, and could look pretty cool.

well, while some are all about the surf, Im about two hours away! With water right at my dock it's kinda one-sided as to where I ride. I'll probably hit OC with some friends for senior week, but what can I say, when on flatwater, in the middle of summer, you gotta have some fun! Im guessing thats why theres no hand-holds either. I wish I coulda been there for Daytona, I'll be there next year.

I hold no promises, but my neighbor has a 40 foot birchrum and a sweet natique ski boat with a thousand gallon fatsack (both throw a good 3-4 foot wake just before plane), so we might get some friends and set up a double up this summer.

We'll see...

O, and BTW, I got some REV's on the way soon!

I found this online and am using it as a model for my turf chinpad.

I figure a layer of 8 mm pad on top and maybe 2 or 3 layers facing your belly covered with turf.

i think he is talking abot on top of the pole, not the chinpad. I wouldnt do it, i've seen it and its ugly. very ugly
