Pole Pad Help

I just got my Waterdawg pole pad. The construction is awesome, extremely strong. However the bolt holes do not line up, they are 1/8" off on both sides. Do i try to bend it and make it work or ask for another one??

I agree call him up but for the price I would want it to fit and not have to bend it.

what pole are you putting this on?
can you "slot" the holes so that they bolts will work?

Its for a UMI pole. The tabs have room on them if i feel the need to drill to have them line up. I'll decide after i talk to Jeff.

you can get an alum grinding bit (looks like a drill bit but only barely twist) for a dremal and slot it with that.

1/8th?? just bend it a little. My pad didn't fit exactally but it will flex just enough to make it fit.

This thing is solid, barely would bend. I drilled new holes on the mounts and it fits perfectly.

good to hear........ most stuff in this sport takes some tweaking sometimes!!!!!!!!!!
