My 950cc, stock crank Polaris engine is almost done, and it's costing me about $3,500. I've seen smaller engines sell for way more. I have a brand new OEM crank, porting done for me and my riding, power valves, and it's all made in the USA!
My stock Octane engine has survived everything. I'm really impressed. I plan to stay Polaris, especially with this investment...

Crank Shop in Vermont. It's the same casting EME uses and other places. Just watch out, bolt pattern is slightly different from the sled cylinders to the EME ones that Power Factor makes the head for...!

Biggest problem with the newer Polaris engines was the crappy PVL ignition systems, ditch the PVL crap, run total loss and most of the electrical problems dissappeared.
