Hey, i need some help figuring out the plumbing on this pipe. I have a single cooling line, split into a T. one goes to the bottom of the manifold, the other to the right side of the 180* bend. i them have one that connects the left side of the 180* to the last part of the expansion chamber.

from there im lost. just dropped the motor in last night. I bought the ski torn apart.

can i get a diagram of this? i dont see a line to the head for cooling, and the return from head to stock pipe fitting is blocked off?

If your tee is at the manifold inlet splitting the water in..that is ok, but you can just use one of the inlet barbs on the bottom ( if its already setup for dual cooling..) capping the other off and re-use that tee for the line off the head to the stinger..

Seems like a lot of water into the stinger. Wouldn't you want to flip the T so that the water from the headpipe goes into the middle of the T so the water is equally distributed? What is the point of it, otherwise?

better yet, throw a jetworks fcv between the T and the stinger

X2 on the FCV. That's what I run. As far as the tee goes, yes I see your point. I was just tossing up a rough sketch for the guy. I have even tapped the stinger barb and put a large mikuni main jet in there to spray the stinger cone exit restricting the water.. To each his own!

Ohh yeah hey, no worries! I have a friend running a spray bar on their b pipe. I'm sure it adds a little, all adds up though!

awesome thanks guys. i changed the routing a bit as im running dual cooling. line one is run to the manifold, then from the top of the head to pisser #1. the second is run to the right side of the pipe, and the left side goes to a pisser. the top line goes to the end of the pipe. going to see how i like this, as the water from the head never touches the pipe.

the less water pressure you have in the head pipe, the more power you are going to have. the newest coffman head pipes, have another barb between the outer 2 bolts and that reduces head pipe pressure. you can drill yours or restrict water to the headpipe.the more water you have dumping into the tail cone stinger fitting, the more top end you have. the water dumping in, actually reduces the size of the hole, changing the sonic wave and acting like a shorter pipe. that pipe only adds 6 hp...............

Yeah a 650 with a pipe is honestly still a turd. It would add more than 6 to a 701 I'm sure if it's port matched

seems to take off good. onsidering ive never ridden a stand up, its plenty to learn and get comfortable on for the rest of the season. ill spend this winter going over everything.

so slow the water through the head and pipe?
