Plug wire and tee nut question

Two question i could use your thoughts on.

1. I purchased a couple 90 degree water fitting to dual cool my set up. I purchased the 3/8's one from Jet World but can not find the matching tap. The 90 degree seems to have a really fine thread. Taking it to Ace the 3/8s 24 still has too much spacing between threads. even grainger does have one. Am i wrong or is this the wrong fitting for the job?

2. I broke off a bolt that holds the monkey grip to the haul. I have tried everything and have not gotten it out. I mean everything. Extractors have broken off it in more than once. What do you think about drilling out the entire threaded insert and glassing in one of these as a replacement. the one shown does have the teeth would stop it from spinning or breaking free from the glass. do you think it would work? does steel adhere well to epoxy resin?

if you're having that much trouble just run a die thru the fitting, thats what I had to do on my 1/2" bent hose barb fitting

Thanks guys for all the help. i should of know about the NPT setup. must of slipped my mind.

This is what one of you suggested as a insert. Looks exactly like what i am looking for. http://yardleyproducts.thomasnet.co...rdized-type-a-molded-in-insert-metric-threads

Does anyone know what metric bolt is used? and the approximate depth i would be looking for. my ski is a half hour away and i would love to get this going. Thanks again.

Oh one more question. Am i missing something here. I didnt think it would be so hard to swap out the plug wires but i guess i was wrong. I think i read something about taking a dremel to get to the connection. Any input would be great.

Contact Matt-E, I think he made a tool to remove the wires. I cant find the link.

Drill the broken bolt out using a left hand drill bit, if this does not remove it then a good extractor should get it out once it is drilled thin. If not just replace the insert with some good epoxy resin with adhesive filler. Marine Tex is premixed and should work fine.
