300/440/550 Please tell me my e-box isn't fried!

Ok I was out practicing subs and after killing it (I fell off) it took FOREVER to start, one cylinder would start firstbut only run around idle speed, and only with the throttle pinned. The second cylinder would start if after about a minute I let off the throttle to about 25%. So I started idling in to the landing I launch out of, and it died, but when I started it again it started right up so I went back out (fatal mistake). This afternoon when I tried to start it out of water, my e-box made a weird buzzing/clicking noise. No movement what so-ever from the starter or engine even without plugs. Any ideas? I REALLY don't want to buy a new e-box.

I'm sure others will chime in soon. There's a lot of possibilities for you to look forward to. Hopefully just a blown fuse. Possible the starter relay in the ebox. I would still pull the ebox, inspect it and clean it. And try and reseal it to prevent water intrusion. Or send it out to JSS and have them dial it in for you. Money well spent there.

Yes! ok, turns out that's what it was! thanks! but what do you think about the single cylinder starting issue? It has new plugs, would plug boots/wires be next?

Could be getting hot and coil drops a cylinder or could have water in it. What head do you run, is it gasket or o ring
