If there is anyone that might be able too help me with these mikuni 46mm buchshot carbs. I have a 845cc superjet built by group K with a factory b pipe msd total loss with a rivia intake, an carbon fiber reeds. the jetting sizes that are in these carbs are 120 low jet an for the main jet 120 as well with a 95gram pop pressure spring, with a 2.o needle an seat. the problem i seem too be having is it always has some kind of bog in the mid range an transfer no matter what i set the carbs at. an my pop off is about 16lbs pure carb .

Quoted from the man himself, definitely words of wisdom if you are trying to use them for freestyle/freeride:

These are Old school racing carbs and as BK said not enough bottom end signal with them, you can make them hit better w/higher pop-off/bigger pilot/smaller main but you will have a carb that will load up if you are freestyle/freeriding. Sell them on flea-bay and get a set of brand new matching pair of stock mikuni 46mm's or go w/ a ATP single manifold w/ a novi 48mm freestyle carb. Then you will be miles ahead in the 'I can't tune it!' department....
