broke my pole on my SXR, and i am doing a pole conversion. ( UMI).

i need a 96-up round nose SJ pole / chin pad. i am going to recover it, so color / condition of the vinyl is not all that imortant.

I have recently seen an Xmetalworks pole on the SXR and it looks cool as hell. I have seen many different poles on dif. boats.. but that looked really good and felt good to on the boat.. It is "D Slicker" from the boards boat. I say this because I dont know about the other conversion ! :Banane01:

^^^^ I agree, the xmetal pole is the best looking, and functioning pole out there. Only prob is the total cost will be up around 1k. I dont think you will regret it though!

"SXR pole" threads pop up all the time. Why doesn't anyone ever go with Dales? My buddy did it and it turned out sweet. ~$600 and bolts right up. I love my xmw pole but I would have had to give dales some serious thought if he put out a pole for the sj...

yeah, i looked at the x-metal. it looks good.

it is just i can get a UMI, and all needed parts through my shop here from hot prods. ( save me some $$$)

i also looked at the dales, but i really don't like th elook of the smaller tubes.

for me, i am sure the UMI will be fine.

really need a pole pad though, anyone.........
