Super Jet piston wash pictures

thought i'd throw these pics up...there from my 96rn 701 i just picked up. previous owner said he just did a fresh top end rebuild, but didn't have time for a break-in. in two days i ran 10 gallons of 93 octane w/Amsoil Interceptor @ 32:1 and followed a proper break-in. stock motor/exhaust/ignition and carb jetting, 2 out on the low and 1 1/4 out on high. strange wash, huh?

The interceptor has additives specifically for cleaning out buildup such as piston carbon. You are running it a little heavy on the oil side. Now that break in is done, go to 40:1 or a little higher and see if the piston carbon starts to build up. I ran interceptor on my SXR for a few years and just switched to dominator. I ran at 44:1 and had good wash marks.

cool info. about the 40-44:1 ratio. installed my Riva pipe this weekend and took some more pictures. everyone likes pictures right? looks like there was fresh top end done after all...
