Piston wash opinions

Hello all need a little insight. Attached are a couple pictures of my piston wash. The ski ran great since ive owned it which is a couple years now. It is a 650sx with single carb the 44, coffman exhaust. I was just checking the spark plugs when I decided to take a look into the cylinders with a pen light. I noticed a big difference between the two cylinders visually so decided to pull the head. To me it looks like water is entering one of the cylinders but want some others opinions. The ski has been problem free and didnt notice anything to lead me here no steam, never overheated, no problems compression even at 150 no issues but maybe I cought one before it became a problem. Thanks for the insight.

The dirty piston has higher combustion temps. It may be normal due to the single carb but old crank seals can also be causing it. All my single carb Kawasakis had a hotter front cylinder.

Don't think that's from watter I sub the poop out of my ski and get watter ingestion quite frequently and my postons don't look like that

I would Try a leak down test to be safe and sure it's not a leaky seal causing a lean conditon

Looks like some water is getting that cyl. some how and it's looks likes steam cleaned too me not lean, it doesn't take much water vapor/steam too clean it ... Look at the underside of the piston crown.. is it clean as the top or is discolored.

Yep, steam cleaned. Bad head gasket or slightly warped head. Could even be it was never retorqued after a couple heat cycles.
