piston sleeve clearences

what is the clarence suppose to be between the piston sleeves and the cases? they are big bore sleeves and the cases were bored out but it nees .2 of a millimeter more (or less) to make it fit. how much extra should i bore it out?

Dont think it matters so long as they go in bro, not a tight tolerence issue there. Bored mine till they fit like + 2mm or something.

Yep, the sleeves don't expand that much it's the pistons that do most of the expanding.

So if the sleeves fit in the case top and the dowel pins line up you should be okay.

the cylinder should fit, w/o force, onto the cases. the only force necessary should be the friction of the pins.

I always bore cases to + .015 over the sleeve diameter, this will make sure sleeves will fit if you have any center to center alignment issues.
