i'll have to pull it down further then as i can't find where the metal came from in the rear cylinder.

What's that thing embedded in the piston in the second picture ?
A screw head from the reeds or a beat up ball bearing ??

Not carb related...something came apart. Crank would be my first guess, after a reed valve inspection.

wasn't reeds, i'll pull the case apart tomorrow and see if the mains went aswell.
