Pipe waterbox misaligned

Ok you guys were Johnny on the spot with the last one. So I have another question. I have a Riva Red pipe and Riva waterbox in a B1. I take the waterbox out today to put some padding under it and when I put it back in there it appears to be badly misaligned. Any thoughts? Is this normal. It was tweaked like that when it came out.

Normal for aftermarket parts. They just made a part, it's up to you to make it fit.

That’s pretty funny. Just had that problem with another part. But this thing is off by a full inch. This picture shows how bad it is and I can’t twist the waterbox to get it any closer. Only way to fix it would be to cut the hull up. I guess why not butcher it up...

Most "sports" require "turf".

Put a wedge of turf under the front (Front side of ski) side to kick the inlet closer. Or grind out the ribs that are there holding it in place. I am not that familiar with Blasters.

That much? The engine would have to slid back an inch. How could that happen? If I slide it forward an inch the coupler wouldn't connect.
idk how it could happen.it's your boat, you should know.in one pic it looks off a very small amount.didn't say it was the alignment, only mentioned to check it.chillax some will ya...

At some point the lower outlet was modified you can see the weld on it in your pics...here is a pic of one from the inter webs that shows a straight shot and would line up
