really the power to weight ratio on that ski is unbelievable . this could be the first 3 rotation backflip in the future in the surf or off a wake . he still has skills i am sure you will see some in the future .

Was he riding his boat?
or his older jet skis?
so he did seem that good?
washed up?

I disagree with the "NOT as IMPRESSIVE" statement. I thought his rides were VERY IMPRESSIVE. As were Pete's, Pierre's, Stoyer's and quite a few more that I saw. Some of the left coasters were hesitant in the shallow water, but they showed VERY impressive re-entry and surf slashing skilz all freakn weekend!!!!! It was INCREDIBLE how mant MFR's throw back flips this year versus last year! They were freakn flippin everywhere!

I talked to Taylor Curtis after he rode it and he said it was too much for the surf. I personally rode the 800cc in havasu and it handled completely differently than any other stand up I've ridden, I looked like a first timer trying to turn. Not to bash it at all just saying its a different ski and it takes different technique to ride around.
that's just my .02

I think the Flatwater hulls of the future will make any avarage rider look like a beginner. they will NOT be made for carving or stability at all, but rather to spin flat and fast and hook up with tons of HP! Wammer once said that the new Lightweight hulls are purpose built and somewhat like riding a bar of soap! It would be nice to own one, but I will ALWAYS have an SJ for the most days riding!!!
