Pickup bed hauler

Thought I would share my setup for hauling my superjet

I can have it loaded in about 6 mins from getting out of my truck to back in ready to go

I can't take credit, I got the idea from by buddy who got the idea from online

Basically it's 2x4s with indoor/outdoor carpet, cut 6x6 and harbor freight winch for the bed

And for the ramp I have home depot wheels(which the smaller ones kept breaking so I went with the bigger ones) and marine hood hinge brackets

I just put the hinge from the ramp to the bunks (male and female) and slide a bolt through on each side(acts as a pin) and it's on

Then muscle the ski back to tipping point and winch it down to the water

Same goes for hauling ski out, winch it up, slide ramp in bed (I have a eyelet and clip for ramp so I can clip it on and don't need to strap it)and off I go

I have done a few upgrades that were needed but overall it was cheap to build, been using it since September and no major issues, works like a charm and I go riding 7 days a week (now only ride when it's 45degrees out or above)

One of the first bunk setups I built for my truck was made with $40 worth of wood. I fabbed it as proof of concept but it worked so good that I actually used it for almost 5 years.
