Freestyle PFP chamber temp ???

what temperature a your PFP chamber ? And what is ideal for flat water freestyle ?

I dont know the temperature of the actual chamber, but I am pretty sure 160-165 degree fahrenheit for the water is close to what you want. Is that right @jo5hi3 ?

i was told to have the outside of the chamber around 160. I have not tired this so i am not sure how it will work.

i have not tried this, so dont quote me on any of it. I have heard mixed information on running it cold and running it hot, i cant speak from my own experiences.

ive just changed from a cold feed to a warm feed and my prop spun like crazy, I went up 2 on the bottom and top and it could still go up more. it was night and day difference

What did you doo ? Restrict water too chamber ?

You either want to restrict before or both before and after, just after could result in hydroforming and the water jacket cracking

Definitely don't restrict after

im running a dasa 1100 with 4 outlets off the head, I use the 2 closest to the centre and Y them together and plum them straight into my pfp chamber.

Sounds like @fx1dan had great success with running 2 of the 4 cooling outlets from the dasa 1100, in the PFP chamber and spun the prop?

Yes ,i read this in post #12 but with @fxidan being the only one so far with input ,i am curious on his noticed increase wether it was from possibly benefiting from riding in cold water or conditions or something of this nature .I guess im just looking to see if the general consensus pro's and con's, or others are experiencing the same increase with different motors and in different condition s

Lee Stone rode my ski and advised me to run my chamber hotter which I have now done with great success, just need to dial the prop in now. Lee runs his hot and it seems to work for him. all you have to do is try it next time your out, for me it was a case of swapping a couple of pipes which took 2 mins and the same to put back to cold feed. my chamber is hot but not to hot to touch. go play with your set up and see what works for your self
