I have a gmg and a traeger. I definitly prefer the gmg it has a better pid controller in my opinion.

I was looking on ebay and found multiple brands I had never heard of that had decent reviews. Would be nice to figure out which ones to avoid.

Rec Tec grills are where it’s at. Price point and quality of build they are the best for the money. They are a small company and customer service is top notch. They don’t have retailers. Also their app is far superior to traeger’s and others. I have two of them and they work so good. Also they will sear a steak awesome!
As of right now, rec tec is on the top of my list for the stainless construction and pid controller. Did you get any additional sear box for yours or just run it wfo?Haha Ducky.

Wfo is 600+ and get the grill grates!
Ended up with rec tec 340 for the all stainless construction and pid controller. Been cooking all kinds of stuff on it, just made wood fired cookies a couple hours ago with dinner.
