I am soo stoked having a resource and outlet being a member on the X. I just payed my ten dollars and I feel great about it. I have now saved Hundreds of dollars in parts and Thousands of dollars in free tech advice. I turned 40 this year...... it is freaking me out a bit, having a Great group of guys to rap with sure makes life a little easier. Speak up tell me why you are here and keep coming back.

That's funny, I have been surfing dodge Ram forums the last week or so and am so frustrated at all the adds, how slow and generally useless they are. It truly makes me appreciate just how good of a group we have here and the culture that has been developed. Subscribing here is the best $10 I spend every year.

"I find that the people on all the sites are pretty similar in character. You gather enough people together for any reason and human nature becomes very apparent regardless of the subject. Some things are truly universal and you are right, we all have arole to play. My observations come from the actual sites themselves. It is quite apparent that they are either market/sales/product driven rather than people/culture/information such as ours.

Wow, that is some serious micromanagement on the huge table showing what you can/can't do per membership level. You have to pay to change the font size in your sig. You have to pay to have more than 30 pm storage, ridiculous.

So what I'm hearing is everyone wants more ads, right?

Yup, its a joke and the adds slow page loading down so much that just sifting thru it becomes a chore. I have been tempted to purchase a minimum package to try it out but I fear that even once past the adds, the content will not offer enough value anyways.

You have truly spoiled us Darin, in more ways than one!

The X is priceless ! Just the fact that so many guys came forward to help out Kevin Bruin's family is good reason to join and become a Member of this site...When it comes to tips about wrenching, maintenance, mods and way more stuff, what's that worth to you each year to learn vicariously through others rather than trial and error ?
