yea working on that i've had that ski for over 15 years now and the only aftermarket parts are mats and ride plate.

will an x2 stay upright if its not moving with a rider on it?

yes. but most start filling with water after about 20 minutes. get a little water in there and some small waves and it will tip and or go down fast.

so what is the deal with those things are they some sort of stand up sit down hybrid? the odd ball of the jet ski community? iv noticed they seem to have a bit of a cult following, not unlike my rotary engines.

Much more of a stand up than sit down, quite awkward to ride while sitting with the seat so low. And you cannot sit on them while not moving unless you are under about 125lbs. They are hard to explain, kind of have to ride one to understand type thing.

i'm 230 and can balance mine like a surfboard tail down

I can balance mine as well, I'm 220. But I would hardly classify that as being able to sit on it like a couch, the entire rear of the ski is under water and any new rider probably isnt going to be able to do it.

it looks alot better when i have waves to help me get out of the water.
