My opinion would be that you cut out the stupid square bulge at the front of the tray and glass it back in flat. I have one of these on my SN and with that bulge, it doesn't give you much room for your foot. On the "new" SN I'm building, that was one of the first things I did. I cut the bulge out, flipped it over and glued it to the tray with Plexus MA310. Then once the footholds are in, I'll just cover it with a layer of glass and put the new Pancake Pete hold in. You'll gain a good inch of room for your foot.
